September is Anti- Bullying month in Inch National School. The Stay Safe Programme is taught in all classes. Pupils are made aware of the definition of bullying and are given strategies on what to do if they find themselves in a situation that makes them feel unsafe. The importance of telling is also reinforced with pupils. The characteristics of a good friend are discussed as are ways that pupils can help and support each other in creating a positive, happy atmosphere in the classroom.
